Project ActiveDuringCrisis is implemented with the financial support of the Erasmus + Program The project is implemented in Smolyan, Bulgaria The aim of the project is to enable youth workers to share good practices, discuss ways to work with young people at risk in times of crisis and discuss opportunities for development. Through group work on topics, brainstorming, and exchange of good practices, youth workers enriched their knowledge. Non-formal education methodology has encouraged youth workers to work actively with young people at risk in their countries and in times of crisis. Shared practices expand the opportunities for youth workers and partner organizations to work with different groups of young people at risk. During these eight days, real friendships were formed. It is impressive that youth workers of different ages and statuses are motivated to speak and act to work with young people in times of crisis through personal initiatives and through the activities of the NGOs that send them. Here everyone had common interests and a common goal. The general conclusion of all is that the project discussed important elements for working during a crisis with young people - with disabilities, from rural areas, with geographical isolation, refugees. The youth workers made constructive suggestions. Another goal of the Erasmus + Program has been largely achieved. The youth workers improved their spoken English and acknowledged that this was happening at a very rapid pace in this internationally friendly environment. Upon their return, the youth workers present through their non-governmental organization not only the project but also the conclusions are drawn from the project.
